Thermal building renovation - subsidies for companies from 28.3.2011
In 2011, the Federal Government is providing a total of €100 million for thermal renovation projects. Of this, €70 million goes to private households and €30 million to commercially used buildings. Applications for businesses can be submitted from 28 March to 30 September 2011.
General information about the funding
The applicant is obliged to inform the managing body, namely KPC Kommunalkredit Public Consulting, about other funding received. Please note that there is no legal entitlement to receive funding. If funding is granted, KPC must conclude a funding agreement with the applicant, which may include terms, reservations, and conditions.
Who is being funded?
There is a distinction between subsidies for companies and for private individuals. A company is any entity that performs economic activity, regardless of its legal form.
What is being funded?
Actions to improve the thermal protection of commercially used buildings are subsidized. If the building is also used privately, the private share must be deducted. The building must be older than 10 years; the date of the building permit (before 1.1.2001) is decisive. There are different subsidy rates; the achievement of the subsidy conditions must be demonstrated by an energy certificate.
Where should the grant application be submitted?
Applications for funding are to be submitted exclusively online at KPC Kommunalkredit Public Consulting from 28 March 2011: www.publicconsulting.at
Private funding applications can be submitted to the building savings banks from 1 March 2011.
