Brief Information: Convertible Bonds Now Tax-Free After All

Previously, a mere conversion of remuneration was generally subject to wage tax. A first, albeit modest, relaxation occurred in the 2003 wage tax protocol.
Alternatively, if an employer offers all employees the granting of a Future security measure in the form of life insurance, if the employees waive the corresponding portion of their salary £300 If they forgo this per year, then the insurance premium paid on account of this wage deferral remains tax-free, even if not all employees accept the offer. The BMF refers to § 3 para. 1 item 15 a EStG as well as RZ 81 LStR 2002.
