Coronavirus: Hardship Fund Phase 2 - Applications from 20.4.

The hardship fund is an emergency aid from the federal government for self-employed individuals. Phase 1 can only be extended until 17:40.. to be applied for. (Information about Phase 1: https://www.wko.at/service/haertefall-fonds-epu-kleinunternehmen.html)

Phase 2 The Hardship Case Fund is launched from April 20.

The grant amount is a maximum of 2,000 euros per month over a maximum of three months - in total up to 6,000 euros. The grant is paid out in arrears.

The basis for calculation is the Net income loss. The period considered for the net income loss is the respective month of the Corona crisis; the first period considered is from March 16 to April 15, 2020.

The viewing periods are fixed:

• Observation period 1: 16 March 2020 - 15 April 2020;
• Observation period 2: April 16, 2020 - May 15, 2020;
• Viewing period 3: 16 May 2020 - 15 June 2020;

A separate application must be submitted for each period of observation.

Grant subsidies that were already granted in Phase 1 will be credited as soon as possible in Phase 2.
