Coronavirus: Compensation bonus of up to 30% of sales up to 60,000 euros per month
The new loss-sharing bonus complements the existing economic aid measures and is intended to be in effect until the end of the pandemic.
The key points:
- Companies that have experienced a loss of more than 40 percent of revenue compared to their respective monthly revenue in 2019 can apply for liquidity assistance of up to 60,000 euros per month through FinanzOnline.
- The replacement rate is 30 percent of the loss in sales; it consists of half the loss bonus and half an advance on the fixed cost subsidy of 800,000.
- Applications are to be submitted starting on the 16th of the following month; the first time the bonus will be available is on February 16, 2021 (for January 2021).
- The application can be submitted by the entrepreneur herself/himself via FinanzOnline.
- The review of the sales increase is carried out retrospectively by a tax advisor when submitting the FKZ 800,000 application.
